Software Project

TAEMDR EMBDAT AVTG

TAEMDR, EMBDAT, and AVTG are related efforts that help teams model electromagnetic disruption recovery, assess effects, and reduce the burden of creating virtual target surrogates.

Recovery Modeling

Supports structured analysis of disruption recovery time.

Effects Assessment

Connects electromagnetic effects to operational understanding.

Virtual Targets

Reduces manual effort in target-surrogate generation.

HPM/RF Testing Support

Supports high-level HPM and RF response testing.

Mission Need

Estimate recovery after electromagnetic disruption.

Programs need repeatable ways to understand how digital systems respond to high-power electromagnetic or RF exposure, including the time required to recover useful capability.

What It Does

Connects recovery modeling, assessment, and virtual targets.

TAEMDR supports recovery-time modeling and simulation planning. EMBDAT extends that analysis toward battle damage assessment. AVTG is planned as a framework for producing large-scale virtual surrogates of real-world digital systems for simulated HPM response testing.

Why It Matters

Reduces the cost of realistic effects testing.

Together, the efforts help teams reason about electromagnetic effects with more structure, reduce manual configuration work, and produce evidence that supports mission risk decisions.
